Tool and Die Maker

Job Overview:

Candidate must be able to work with cad files and related software. Must be proficient using Mastercam. Proficient with EDM wire cutting preferably Fanuc EDM. Help our customers to design a die from the drawings they provide for the profile they are looking to have extruded. Part of the job will be validating the die and assisting production as required to improve efficiencies. Knowledge with vacuum and sizers would be an asset. Knowledge of manual machining equipment would be an asset (lathe, milling machine and horizontal grinder). Die polishing would be an asset.

Qualifications:

• Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification would be an asset but no required

• Red Seal in Tool and Die Making would be an asset but not required

• Vinyl Extrusion in experience would be a great asset
